This is definitely one of the worst chain mailings I’ve gotten since …the last one.

What makes this one so special is that it starts us off with a little anti-immigrant demogoggery, then whips us into a rollercoaster ride of how great things were before those regulatin’ liberals and–somehow–political correctness ruined everybody’s fun.  It leaps right into a –misquoted– pro-God-in-the-pledge thing falsely attributed to Jay Leno, and then ends us off with a vague little motivational blah-blah.  And remember folks, if you’re stupid enough to not be an evangelical Christian, don’t come whining to the person who sent it to you, just delete it!

Just to make sure you UNDERSTAND everything, THE important WORDS are written BIG like THIS.

Wait, now there’s two?

This morning we opened the bedroom window and raised the shutter only to find a small, whitish egg lying in one of the flower boxes.  Was it always there, asked Julie.  No, I said, but whose is it?

We didn’t have to look in the book of birds to find out.  Not too long after, we saw a pidgeon sitting on the egg.  Pidgeons require 18 days to hatch an egg.  Usually there are to eggs, only one egg is a bad sign.  I suppose being too lazy to make a nest is a bad sign too.

What will become of this egg?  I didn’t say it out loud but just between you and me, I think it will never hatch.

Moving the blogpage away from greymatter to wordpress seems to be working out pretty good.

One other advantage of it, and actually probably the biggest reason for the change, was that GM had none of that right-clicky contexty menuey support — at least not in firefox.

You would have to go to your actual login page to create a new entry instead of being able to use some quick text editing application that appears at the click of a button.

One such app is Scribefire, a nice addon for firefox. It’s been working out fine until about two or three days ago. Although posting entries still works, it no longer can pull up past entries or my categories. That is why this post goes under “uncategorized”. I wonder how to fix that.

Chloe, Martin and Olive will be leaving Dresden for London on the “morning” of March 26. There is a farewell party next Thursday. Be sure to see them off if you are in town.
